Marine Harvest Markets Norway, department Ingredients, is in charge of value adding based on rest raw material from salmon within Marine Harvest. Main products are ingredients such as salmon oil and salmon meal. Market segments are the petfood and feed industry, food supplements and functional foods world-wide.   
 
We are expanding production volume, product and market development. Due to the expantion we are now seeking new colleagues to strengthen our team. 
 
Plant Manager   
Marine Harvest is expanding our business in Poland by opening a new Plant in Ustka. We are therefore looking for a Plant Manager with passion for the Salmon Industry, that wants to contribute in shaping and developing our new site in Poland. We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking candidate to join us in Leading the Blue Revolution.   
 
Responsibilites include:
  • Establish best practice for salmon oil and meal production   
  • HR, HSE and QA responsibility   
  • Food safety   
  • Work procedures   
  • Cost and production budget   
  • Monthly reporting   
  • Short and long term planning of production, maintenance, purchase, staff/employees, audits, customer visits etc.   
  • Inbound and outbound logistics   
  • Update sales team according to their needs   
  • Deal efficiently with customer complaints according to company guidelines   
  • Keeping management and employees updated in regards to rules and regulations   
  • Training and education of staff 
 
Requirments include:
  • Engineer or degree in industrial food/feed. Accounting or business management degreed candidates will also be considered with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and plant management experience.   
  • Relevant job experience can compensate for lack of formal education.   
  • Fluent in Polish and English   
  • Organized and structured.   
  • Results and solution oriented   
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.   
  • Technical skills
