Alf-Helge Aarskog, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Aarskog has served as CEO of Marine Harvest since 2010. Prior to this position, he was the CEO (2009 to 2010) and Exective Vice President (2007 to 2009) at Lerøy Seafood Group ASA. His previous positions include Managing Director (2004 to 2007) of Lerøy Midnor AS, a subsidiary of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA, and Head of Production (2002 to 2004) at Fjord Seafood ASA, a company that was later merged with ours. He holds a degree in Fish Nutrition from the University of Agriculture in Norway.

Ivan Vindheim

Mr. Vindheim joined Marine Harvest as CFO in 2012. Prior to joining the company, he was the CFO of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA for five years. He has also held the position of Vice President of Finance (2005 to 2007) in Rolls-Royce and worked for Deloitte, first within assurance and later within corporate finance. He holds a degree in Business and an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He is also a licensed State Authorized Public Accountant and Certified European Financial Analyst. In addition, he has completed two years at the Norwegian Officer Candidate School and two years of law school.

Marit Solberg

Ms. Solberg is COO Farming for Canada, Ireland, Scotland and Faroe Islands. Prior to this role, she was the Managing Director (2002 to 2011) of Marine Harvest Norway AS. Ms. Solberg has held senior management positions in Hydro Seafood (1996 to 2002) as well as in Mowi AS (1985 to 1996), a seafood company acquired by Marine Harvest. She holds a degree in Microbiology from the University of Bergen.

Per-Roar Gjerde

Mr. Gjerde has served as COO Farming for Norway and Chile since January 2017. Prior to this position, he was the Managing Director (2016) at Marine Harvest Chile and Regional Director (2007 to 2016) of Marine Harvest Region West. His previous positions include Controller at Fjord Seafood Norway (2002 to 2007). This company became a part of Marine Harvest in 2006. Per-Roar studied at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), and has taken executive management courses at AFF in Norway and Insead in France.

Ola Brattvoll

Mr. Brattvoll has served as the COO of Marine Harvest´s sales & marketing segment since December 2010. Prior to joining us, he worked in the marketing and sales department of the Norwegian Seafood Export Council´s Norway office (1995 to 2002) and Tokyo office (2002 to 2006). Mr. Brattvoll has also worked as Market Director (2006 to 2007) and Vice President of Sales (2010 to 2011) at Hallvard Lerøy AS, a seafood company. He holds a degree in Fisheries from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science, University of Tromsø.

Ben Hadfield

Mr. Hadfield has been the COO of Marine Harvest’s fish feed segment since February 2013, before which he was a Production Manager at Marine Harvest Scotland (2007 to 2013) and the Technical Chairman of the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation (2012 to 2013). His previous positions also include Technical & HSEQ Manager (2004 to 2007) and Environmental Manager (2000 to 2004) at Marine Harvest Scotland. He holds degrees from the University of Sheffield and the University of Manchester.

Øyvind Oaland

Mr. Oaland has served as Marine Harvest’s Global Director for Research and Development since 2008. He has been with Marine Harvest since 2000 in various capacities within fish health, food safety, product quality and quality assurance. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science.

Glenn Flanders

Mr Flanders joined Marine Harvest as Chief Strategy Officer in 2016. Prior to joining the company, he was Co-Managing Partner of Cuna del Mar, a US private equity company, where he managed investments directed at innovation in aquaculture, including enabling technologies, offshore production methodologies and new species development. He has also held consultancy and execute management positions in start-up and early stage companies in aquaculture and value-added food products. Glenn began his aquaculture career in 1998 with Atlantic Salmon of Maine which evolved into Manager of Finance in Fjord Seafood USA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Southern Maine.

Anne Lorgen Riise

Ms. Lorgen Riise joined Marine Harvest as Group Director of Human Resources in 2012. Her prior positions include Vice President of Human Resources Europe (2009 to 2012) and General Counsel (2006 to 2009) for Ceragon (Nera) Networks. She has also held positions in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries (2000 to 2003). Ms. Riise has previously practiced as a lawyer and she holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Bergen and Oxford Brookes University.

Kristine Gramstad Wedler

Mrs. Gramstad Wedler joined Marine Harvest as Group Communication Director in August 2013, before which she was State Secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs. She has also held positions in Rogaland County Council as Labor Party Group Leader (2007 to 2011). Mrs. Gramstad Wedler holds a master’s degree in Change Management from University of Stavanger and a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Oslo.
